The distressed student protocol was developed as a guide for faculty, staff, and students in helping distressed or distressing students. The goal of the protocol is to foster student success and well-being while meeting the immediate needs of our campus community.
In order to provide comprehensive services, the distressed student protocol utilizes the case management model to meet the needs of distressed students. The case management team is comprised of campus leaders from various university departments who meet weekly to coordinate services for students.
